Core Network Planning Engineer

1. Check both section & individual objectives regularly and commit to achieve them within the specified timeframes and the required efficiency.
2. Participate in conducting on the job training for other team members as needed.
3. Collaborate with other team members or departments to achieve the targeted objectives.
4. Prepare core network plan, network topology, and related documents (yearly plan, HLD, LLD, DD).
5. Prepare technical proposal for suppliers, and review suppliers’ technical proposal & BoQs.
6. Provide integration plan for new network elements/services.
7. Prepare numbering plan.
8. Develop network strategy, study new solutions & features to introduce new technologies & services.
9. Engineering Reports and related documents: create daily, monthly, and new performance reports as needed.
10. Monitor network Performance: monitor and analyze traffic, data, signaling and other KPIs on daily & monthly basis to optimize core network performance and do proactive troubleshooting and problem solving.
11. Prepare needed work orders to implement core plan and optimize network performance.
12. Study core network features and functionalities and prepare core network parameters and settings.
13. Suggest potential technical solutions and improvements to core network.
14. Study products, offers and services proposed by marketing department and provide Core Planning HOS with technical feasibility study.
15. Check Core planning section and individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company’s goals and corporate objectives.
