Radio Database Operation Engineer

1. Check both section & individual objectives regularly and commit to achieve them within the specified timeframes and the required efficiency.
2. Participate in conducting on the job training for other team members as needed.
3. Collaborate with other team members or departments to achieve the targeted objectives.
4. Load radio site database that is prepared by radio engineer to launch new radio site on air.
5. Coordinate with rollout engineer, transport engineer and core engineer in launching new radio site on air.
6. Configure new radio hardware based on modification request received from radio engineer.
7. Configure external alarms of power solutions and critical facilities supporting systems on network management system.
8. Perform software loading, parameters settings, radio database modification of relevant radio site elements for optimization purpose based on a request from radio engineer.
9. Participate in projects and critical changes on BSS (Sabe Station Subsystem) such as re-homing, new frequency plan and parameters enhancement.
10. Participate in the troubleshooting of radio problems on cell level by checking hardware & software configuration and radio sites parameters.
11. Upgrade software version on cell level based on supplier's recommendations approved by technical management.
12. Implement license expansion and request from supplier license renewal when license validity expires.
13. Procced with the approved research studies and prepare detailed documentations.
14. Prepare reports about radio equipment and its configurations upon request.
15. Prepare daily task report about performed activities to facilitate reviewing the needed site's data when required.
16. Participate to conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation & teamwork.
