Initiate contact with roaming partners and roaming service providers in order to accomplish duties and responsibilities.
Handle the full cycle of finalizing new roaming agreements (GSM, CAMEL “Customized Applications for Mobile networks Enhanced Logic”, DATA, 2G, 3G, 4G, etc.) in terms of (Negotiation - evaluation - coordination for Technical & Billing testing) and ensure the successful commercial launch.
Handle the full cycle of finalizing new interworking agreements (SMS – MMS – Voice…etc.) in terms of (evaluation - coordination for technical and billing testing) and ensure the successful commercial launch.
Handle the logistics of mutual exchange of the test SIM cards, hard copy of roaming agreements & all annexes between WAFA & other operators, and ensure the internal distribution and archiving according to index of records.
Monitor the Monthly usage of WAFA and other operators roaming test SIM cards & report to relevant parties & management.
Update the prepaid tariff for out bound prepaid roaming, follow up the implementing in coordination with concerned parties.
Receive service providers’ invoices and verify them with concerned dept.
Follow up on roaming invoices issues with roaming partners when needed.
Maintain the content of Welcome SMS and Bon Voyage SMS.
Handle the tracking of all updated information received from roaming partners, or relevant Hubs, ensure the continuous update of roaming database on the relevant application & routing table, and follow up the external updates with the related departments.
Handle the overall process and implementation of interworking offers / services for WAFA customers.
Analyze cost structure of international destinations to optimize the current routing of voice and various messaging types.
Verify & monitor the routing of voice, various messaging types and the quality of the international destinations.
Coordinate with the Network Quality Assurance Unit to ensure the quality & availability of the inbound Roaming & interworking services, especially the coverage on red carpet cells such as borders, airports & important areas and to maximize revenue and follow up the corrective actions.
Identify, solve, and follow up all roaming & interworking operational problems received from Service Desk Support Section, operators, service providers, Revenue Assurance Unit or Network Quality Assurance Unit and check with concerned department or operator to ensure effective & timely resolution.
Provide concerned parties with complete & accurate feedback about the corrective & preventive actions applied to solve the complaints and keep records.
Ensure that Wafa is compliant with GSM Association Recommendations & Standards, in terms of needed documentation and processes.
Prepare required reports timely.
Prepare SYTPRA letter in coordination with concerned departments / units when needed and coordinate with Regulatory & Governmental Affairs Unit to get the needed approvals.
Coordinate with Information Technology Dept. and Finance Dept. to ensure all interconnect / interworking rates are invoiced and settled correctly.
Ensure implementing fraud preventive processes (or actions) and leakage detection through testing, coordinating between operators, providers & concerned departments within Wafa.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or relevant field is required.
Experience
1 year experience in Marketing is preferable.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Good level in English and Microsoft Office is required.
