Transport Planning Routing & Security Engineer

1. Check both section & individual objectives regularly and commit to achieve them within the specified timeframes and the required efficiency.
2. Participate in conducting on the job training for other team members as needed.
3. Collaborate with other team members or departments to achieve the targeted objectives.
4. Prepare plans and work orders to support network expansion, modifications and launching of new services.
5. Maintain efficient and secure IP connectivity, capacities and other routing and security services by conducting continuous review, research and propose network plans and solutions.
6. Ensure that the performance of transport network is within the preset KPIs.
7. Follow up with network operation unit (routing and security) in regard to all plans, projects and work orders submitted for execution.
8. Check and ensure accurate validation of ST claims for routing and security transport network resources.
9. Work on maintaining updated leased transport facilities database (leased circuits, interconnection systems, capacities, IPs, IGW, etc.).
10. Maintain transport services offered to all customers internal and external and guarantee service quality as per the network performance KPI's.
11. Review database of available routing and network security hardware and resources in warehouse as requested.
12. Keep records about the corrective and preventive actions applied to solve customers’ complaints.
13. Maintain and enhance network security and protect the network and customers' networks from unauthorized access and security breaches.
14. Monitor network performance and maintain the requirements and KPIs.
15. Study network QoS mechanisms for optimization.
