Job Duties

  1. Ensure that health and safety policies are enforced in all areas of the company and during field operations.
  2. Identify the potential risks and implement safety measures to prevent their occurrence or mitigate their impact.
  3. Investigate workplace HSE incidents and complete root cause analysis to determine the appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  4. Develop the plan of HSE inspection visits, conduct the visits and prepare the needed reports.
  5. Develop plans for evacuation in emergency situations.
  6. Form an emergency team trained and familiar with dealing in all emergency cases from all departments (at least one employee from each department).
  7. Provide a detailed report to HOS regarding accidents/incidents in a timely manner according to the related policies and procedures and recommend solutions for preventing similar incidents in the future.
  8. Conduct periodic inspection visits to the company’s facilities to ensure a healthy and comfortable work environment and check the readiness of tools related to HSE (alarms, fire extinguishers, etc.).
  9. Conduct root cause analysis to occurred incidents and recommend actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  10. Research for new safety technologies or procedures to improve workplace safety.
  11. Research new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer's industry.
  12. Conduct awareness sessions for employees on health and safety.
  13. Ensure the availability of safety tools to be used by certain function upon implementing certain tasks.

Education

Bachelor's Degree is required.

Experience

1 Year of relevant experience is required.

Professional Certificates

ISO 45001 2018 or OSHA is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Good level in English and Microsoft Office is required.
