IT Network Management HOS

A) Duties of Job Title

1. Interview candidates and provide recommendations to the direct line of authority.
2. Prepare section’s yearly budget as per corporate objectives.
3. Cascade unit objectives into section & individual objectives and ensure proper alignment.
4. Prepare, measure and maintain accurate section & individual KPIs on a regular basis.
5. Coach, develop and motivate team members to reach optimum performance & successfully contribute in achieving corporate, department & unit objectives.
6. Develop and maintain the company’s quality management system effectively & efficiently.
7. Conduct staff meeting with team members in all regions on a quarterly basis to reinforce company’s culture & values and discuss team related issues & concerns.
8. Monitor and ensure efficient & appropriate use of resources (financial, human, physical, IT, etc.) to achieve the planned objectives & support smart spending strategy.

B) Duties of Position

1. Participate in the planning of IT network hardware and software requirements with their related BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
2. Supervise the implementation of infrastructure hardware and software upgrades and replacement for new LAN/WAN networks and expansion.
3. Ensure effective implementation of security policies to protect IT network against unauthorized access.
4. Review the reports related to IT networks data traffic to ensure that all packets are delivered to correct destination.
5. Review network performance reports and recommend needed actions to ensure access network performance stability and availability.
6. Supervise and provide support to IT Network & Telephony Engineers to identify, troubleshoot and solve incident and ensure restoring the service within the agreed service level.
7. Review the analysis of repetitive incidents in order to take the proper corrective and preventive actions.
8. Ensure handling and closing support requests received from users effectively and within timeframes.
9. Conduct technical assessment of offers received from Procurement.
10. Check the delivered devices at warehouse and ensure matching the required specifications.
11. Ensure the creation, maintenance and update of configuration files, records, logs and reports.
